Title: Last impression, 180 x 85 x 80 cm
This work is essentially about the momentary experience of an ending, such as the last impression before death or the unexpected brushstroke that finalises a painting. It's amazing that the time it takes to give that last brush stroke can be compared to the time that the guillotine blade takes to fall to where it stops, of which is a 70th of a second. |
